Server Rules

⚠️ Important

  • You must be 18 years or older to play on Time2RP. No exceptions.
  • A clear and working microphone is required.
  • Toxicity is not tolerated in any form — including on Discord, Twitch, or any platform.
  • Permanent bans will be issued for harassment, hate speech, doxxing, threats, or inappropriate behavior.
  • Staff make final decisions on what qualifies as roleplay over ruleplay.

🔹 General Rules

Stay In Character

  • Breaking character is strictly prohibited.
  • Do not break character to call out rule breaks.
  • Finish the roleplay and report violations afterward.
  • Roleplay through technical issues where possible.

Metagaming

  • Do not use out-of-character info in roleplay.
  • No Discord/online calls while on the server.
  • Do not be in a Time2RP Twitch stream while in-city.

Powergaming

  • Don’t force outcomes or use unfair game mechanics.
  • Others must have a fair chance to react.

Combat Logging

  • Logging out to avoid RP consequences is bannable.
  • If your game crashes, reconnect and notify involved parties.

VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch)

  • Do not use vehicles as weapons unless justified through RP.

RDM (Random Deathmatch)

  • Do not kill/injure without a strong RP reason.

Suicide RP

  • Never allowed. Permanent ban.

🧠 NLR – New Life Rule

  • Forget everything that led to respawn at the hospital.
  • Do not return to the same location for 30 minutes.
  • Do not seek revenge for 60 minutes.

Returning to a Scene

  • After incapacitation in violent/police/gang scenes, do not return.

🧍 Value of Life

  • Fear for your life realistically.
  • Comply when a weapon is drawn unless escape is viable.
  • No jumping from buildings or driving off cliffs unless justified.

🟩 Green Zones

  • Apartments & Hospital are green zones.
    ❌ No criminal or violent activity here.
    ❌ Do not use them to escape RP or make illegal deals.

🏢 Business Premises

  • Not green zones, but:
    • Do not attack/kidnap employees in uniform without strong RP.
    • Do not rob/kidnap workers gathering supplies without RP.

🎭 Quality of Roleplay

  • ❗ Major crimes prohibited 30 min before/after restart.
  • ✅ 6-man max per civ/gang scenario (unless at gang block).
  • ✅ 3-car max per scene.
  • ✅ Max 2 people per truck, regardless of size.

Specific Restrictions

  • Police kidnappings must be rare and strongly justified.
  • Do not chain-rob or chain-scam players.
  • Scamming property/vehicles is not allowed.
  • Riot/protest RP must be approved by staff.
  • Legal job locations are off-limits for robberies.
  • Sewers follow the same rules — no “free for all”.
  • Hint illegal mechanics to cops — don’t snitch directly.
  • Use of firearms must be a last resort.
  • Do not third-party or breach other players’ heists.
  • Police should not be shot at traffic stops/small crimes.
  • Do not steal from business stashes.
  • Always initiate fights verbally — more than one sentence.
  • Don’t powergame by tackling and executing players.
  • You may defend yourself, but must vocalize the reason.

💰 Looting & Robbery

Looting must be roleplay-driven, not loot-driven.

Prohibited:

  • Farming police for loot.
  • Looting mid-scene or with no RP context.
  • Scene circling to loot downed players.

❌ Fail RP

Avoid unrealistic or exploitative behavior:

  • Canceling emotes to avoid lock-ins.
  • Spamming mechanics to exploit speed.
  • Robbing without cause or RP.
  • Reusing shootout locations frequently.
  • Pulling cars from garage/impound mid-chase.
  • Powergaming money-making instead of RPing it.
  • Antagonizing gangs/PD without RP.
  • Crying or OOC complaints during arrest.
  • No supernatural/make-believe characters.
  • Swimming into open ocean to escape.

🧠 Cheating / Exploiting

  • Hacking, exploiting, 3rd-party tools = instant permanent ban.
  • Modifying game files for advantage is not allowed.
  • PC checks may be requested. Refusal = permaban.
  • Record your game. Staff may ask for your POV anytime.

🔒 Prison & Convoy Rules

Prison Breaks

  • Allowed only for 5+ hour sentences.
  • May NOT take officers hostage to force open.
  • Must use other RP methods.

Convoy Attacks

  • Must occur outside prison.
  • Max 6 attackers + freed prisoner (7 total).
  • Focus on escape, not PD wipeouts.

⛔ Punishments & Appeals

  • Temp bans = Final.
  • Perm bans = Appealable after 30 days.
  • Ticket spam after ban = additional punishment.

Ban Evasion

Strictly prohibited:

  • Alt accounts
  • VPNs
  • Friends playing for you

Attempting to bypass = permanent, unappealable ban.

📝 Reporting Incidents

All reports must include:

  • Clear video evidence
  • Your voice/audio
  • Minimum 2 minutes footage
  • Full lead-up and aftermath.

🎒 Lost Item Compensation

  • Items lost due to hackers/scuff are compensated.
  • RP-related loss reviewed case-by-case if related to a permanent ban.

⚖️ Final Notes

Time2RP Staff reserve the right to:

  • Revoke your whitelist at any time.
  • Issue punishments based on discretion.
  • Keep disciplinary actions private.
